  • Automated Workflow Distribution
    • Automated Work Distributor™ AWD® is a multi-channel (image, email, fax, phone and web) electronic workflow, work management and customer service system that we use in our processing environment. AWD enables us to offer our clients a completely paperless processing environment with automated controls and end-to-end tracking capabilities. The system architecture uses a relational database that is fully table-driven and client-defined. AWD provides intuitive work management capabilities for electronically routing work items to qualified individuals performing specific tasks, even when they are at different geographic locations. Each transaction’s quality, work type and operator can be tracked using statistical measurements. Typically, clients using AWD have realized productivity gains of 20 to over 30 percent.
    • AWD/Intelligent Character Recognition AWD/ICR® is a graphical Windows-based workstation for operator validation, correction and high-productivity data keying. AWD/ICR enables the capture of machine- and hand-printed characters from document images and automatically enters those characters into the appropriate database fields.
    • AWD/Knowledge Enabler™ AWD/KE® is a graphical Windows-based application to simplify setup and task navigation processes. AWD/KE reduces keystrokes, minimizes training requirements and enables significant improvements in both processing productivity and quality.
    • AWD/Report Import Processor AWD/RIP® provides a facility to accept data from business-to-business e-commerce AND bulk electronic message traffic from proprietary systems.
    • AWD/Straight Through AWD/ST™ is AWD’s self-contained, straight-through-processing server that enhances productivity and quality in work processing. It receives requests through various portals, including the web and email, and automatically works through a request or routes it directly to people for exception handling.
    • AWD/Business Intelligence™ AWD/BI is a robust data warehouse with OLAP tools and a GUI to design and run queries, improving processing efficiency and decision-making abilities with its reporting and trend analysis tools. AWD/BI has an "event-based" process that captures AWD workflow data in real time and prepares it for reporting.
    • Literature™ Literature enables Boston Financial to efficiently respond to requests for literature and track the success of fund companies’ marketing campaigns.
    • EnCorr® EnCorr automates the generation of outbound correspondence and can be integrated with line-of-business systems to personalize correspondence to customers.
  • Recordkeeping
    • TA2000® TA2000 is a robust, technologically innovative and single-platform flexible system that provides high-quality software solutions to support our clients’ transfer agency processing requirements. Our mutual fund, defined contribution services and 529 clients all use the TA2000 system. TA2000 is the leading shareholder recordkeeping system in the mutual fund industry, delivering extensive functions and support for every facet of full-service and remote operations. TA2000 supports a wide variety of fund and transaction types. It also features more than 300 fund options and a transaction code matrix that enables clients to define processing rules according to their own needs. TA2000 interfaces and integrates with other DST products to provide a complete systems solution.
    • TA2000 Desktop™ Desktop is an integrated graphical user interface to TA2000, providing a seamless integration between TA2000 and AWD. The Desktop provides the industry’s most advanced interface for transaction processing and telephone-based communications. It improves productivity and delivery of information to customer service representatives and processing personnel.
    • eSTUB® eSTUB dramatically improves the processing of exception items. It reduces the physical handling of checks and redundant data entry, and increases the speed and efficiency of preparing checks for deposit.
    • High Speed Data Entry HSDE automatically routes and processes tasks based on clients’ business rules, virtually eliminating the need for human intervention.
    • TRAC™ The TRAC defined contribution processing system combines financial institutions’ business rules, regulatory rules and plan-specific rules to ensure plan and participant transactions are accurate. The platform produces customized statements and provides comprehensive support for marketing, compliance testing, plan administration, tax reporting, and employer and participant servicing. TRAC provides fully integrated and real-time voice, Internet and wireless access and processing for participants, and Internet access for plan sponsors, TPAs and financial intermediaries.
    • TRAC Desktop™ The TRAC Desktop is an integrated graphical user interface to TRAC, providing a seamless integration between TRAC and AWD. The Desktop provides the industry’s most advanced interface for transaction processing and telephone-based communications. It improves productivity and delivery of information to customer service representatives and processing personnel.
    • TRAC Compliance Desktop™ TRAC’s Compliance Desktop performs tests for 401(k)/401(m) ADP/ACP discrimination testing, 415 annual addition limitations, 402(g) elective deferral limitation, 416 top heavy, 401(a)(4) general non-discrimination, 410(b) minimum coverage and 404 deductibility.
  • Reporting
    • PowerSelect™ PowerSelect is a powerful PC-based ad hoc reporting tool that enables fund companies to run unlimited queries on their shareholder account and transaction data. PowerSelect uses information contained in the company’s shareholder account file, price file and other files maintained on the database.
    • TA2000 Data Warehouse™ The Data Warehouse collects, manages and changes raw corporate data into easily accessible intellectual capital. It allows clients to study trends occurring in their business, understand the factors contributing to those trends, and then make informed decisions to take advantage of business opportunities.
    • Transmission Interface Package TIP provides interfaces with a large number of external parties and their core systems. We can also tailor existing interfaces or create new ones to meet your individual needs.
  • Self-Service
    • FAN Web™ FAN Web helps fund companies connect investors to fund and account level information online. FAN Web works through a fund-company Internet site or directly through ISP services and links like AOL and Quicken. Investors can use the fund company’s proprietary web site to complete account inquiries and request transactions.
    • TA2000/Voice™ TA2000 Voice provides shareholders with access to their financial information over the telephone.
    • TRAC/Web™ TRAC Web enables clients to provide participants, plan sponsors, and third-party administrators convenient self-servicing Internet access to their retirement plan information in a real-time environment.
    • TRAC Web/Wireless™ enables participants to access their retirement plan information anytime, anywhere using hand-held devices such as Web-enabled phones or personal digital assistants (PDAs).
    • TRAC/Voice™ TRAC/Voice allows participants to retrieve information and perform transactions simply by using a touchtone telephone.
    • Vision Mutual Fund Gateway Vision® enables mutual fund companies to provide advisors with convenient cost-effective access to their shareholders’ mutual fund account information. It enables broker/dealers and financial advisors to view fund, shareholder account and book-of-business information in real-time, as well as execute transactions, perform account maintenance and establish new accounts. Vision provides access to electronic statements and permits advisors to view and order fund literature online. Vision also provides a variety of ways for back offices to track assets within a management company.
    • FAN Mail® FAN Mail provides intermediaries with all of the account information necessary to maintain an internal database. Customer account information is provided through an Internet FTP site maintained by DST. The recipient can then download mutual fund data to a PC. This allows immediate updating of customer account databases, eliminating the manual process of entering data.
  • Call Management
    • AWD/Contact™ AWD/Contact® provides you with a unified view of all customer contacts, whether the channel of communication is mail, fax, phone, email, Web callback, Web collaboration, Web chat or voiceover IP. Tight integration between AWD’s capture suite and business rules engine reduces implementation costs and ensures that all transactions are processed consistently.
    • CentreVu® CentreVu helps Boston Financial stay in touch with virtually every call-based activity in our customer contact centers. We measure telephone service levels, based upon time to answer, abandonment rates and talk time. We evaluate single-agent performance, agent workgroups, a single contact center or multiple contact centers at diverse locations.
    • NICE NICE call recording devices provide mission-critical backup and archival service elements to all calling activity at our contact centers. Accurately recorded calls form an important means of safeguarding an accurate history of agent/shareholder/dealer call handling and transaction processing.
    • eLLITE™ eLLITE is an efficient and cost-effective Internet solution for the distribution of fund marketing and compliance documents.
