A Proven Client Support Model
Boston Financial’s Client Service Teams
form the heart of our service delivery system.
Comprised of a Client Relationship Officer and
representatives from critical functional areas,
these teams work closely with our clients every
day to deliver world-class service.
A Client Relationship Officer heads up each team,
responsible for coordinating clients’ needs
and ensuring that service performance exceeds
service expectations. The Relationship Officer
is also responsible for maintaining an open and
effective communications process. This includes
regular conference calls, monthly performance
reports, annual planning and review sessions,
client conferences and special meetings, and staff
training.
This service delivery system brings you the depth
of knowledge and experience within Boston Financial.
It also involves Boston Financial in the direction
of your business. Each Client Service Team typically
includes representatives from these functional
areas:
- Transaction processing -- setting up new accounts
and processing all purchases, redemptions, exchanges
and maintenance items for existing accounts.
- Shareholder and broker/dealer services --
all phone and written correspondence, as well
as related research activities between clients
and their shareholders and broker/dealer community.
- NSCC and dealer services -- processing of
all NSCC trade settlements, file transfers,
commission structures and payments with broker/dealers
- Reconciliation and control -- all activities
related to share and cash balances, NAVs, wire
transfers and redemptions.
- Statements and reporting -- daily, quarterly
and annual statement production and design,
standard and ad-hoc client fund reporting, and
regulatory and tax reporting.
- Internet services -- providing clients and
their investors with account access via the
Internet, and network and download capabilities
for registered investment advisors and financial
planners.
Each member of the Client Service Team is trained
as a representative of your company. Training
includes your preferred procedures for processing
work, the handling of intermediary and third-party
relationships, style and content of report formats
and frequency, information about you and your
customer base, and an understanding of your culture
and philosophy. Boston Financial encourages our
clients to participate in cross-training programs
in which Boston Financial staff trains on-site
with you, and vice-versa.
